This n' That

I'm busy being the least productive person on the planet, so I'll just throw some stuff out there.

Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier = un-put-down-able.  It's The Twelve Dancing Princesses plus Dracula plus about three other legends/fairy tales I've spotted so far.  Hence the lack of productivity.  I'm tellng you what, if this one guy ( I won't spoil it by naming him) doesn't get a good comeuppance, I'm going to be very upset.  SO EVIL!  I love it!

To address the comments on my previous post: Chatspeak = NOT REAL WORDS.  Emoticons are fine.  They're cute.  When not used to excess.  But LOL, IMHO, just annoy me.  I can't tell you the number of emails I get from people who liked my books (I think), and use so many chat contractions that it takes me an hour to decipher them.  (Also, please include your name in your email!  So many people don't bother to sign their names to their emails.  Don't you want me to remember your name, should we ever met in the real world?)

Multiple comments are fine, Enna.

And a review with me is up at Deliciously Clean Reads.  They came up with some really great questions.  They're also giving away a signed copy of Sun and Moon.

Whew! I had to go back and make sure I hadn't used chatspeak in my last post (although the worst I get is an occasional LOL or smiley). Thanks for the recommendation on Wildwood Dancing. I love fairy tale retellings, so I'll have to give this one a try. And, finally congrats on the great interview on Deliciously Clean Reads. They loved you!

Just finished your book Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow. Thanks for such an entertaining book. Loved the story and can't wait to read it to my grandson who will love it! You hooked me in and kept me enthralled to the end. Keep up the great work!

Heh, I just finished Wilwood Dancing last night. I'm now reading East which is another retelling of Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow.

Needless to say, I love your book Dragon Slippers and I really hope that in some crazy way I'll be able to get Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by *entering* the giveaway : ) And...I usually don't chat-speak in comments (the only phrase I can remember I used was "btw").

I'm (re)reading Wildwood Dancing right now - and it definitely deserves the title of "un-put-down-able" ; )

I read "Dragon Slippers" last week and enjoyed it so much that I had to share it. My niece loved it too. We're looking forward to the sequel. Thanks!
